  • Aga Khan Council | Akdn | Social-Community Development
    Manager Operations
    Aga Khan Council | Akdn | Social-Community Development Jun 2013 - Jun 2019
    Karachi Pakistan
My role was to work as a catalyst and facilitate AKDN agencies working in clusters like health, built environment, habitat, education, disaster risk reduction, etc., for delivering integrated development initiatives to enhance the Quality of Life for marginalised communities and at the same time, creating sustainable synergies in existing and new interventions so that innovative cohesiveness can benefit manifold. My fundamental interest is to capture, track, analyse, and report essential Quality of Life indicators of the community, spread across diverse geographic terrain from various socio-economic statuses. As a pivotal link, I interpret indicators into interventions and programs to address the quality of life gaps. I simultaneously ensure evolvement by providing monitoring and evaluation oversight and updating indicators through the Information System. Leading 8 Regional Managers across Pakistan, I oversee the implementation of program interventions. This position required extensive travel from the remotest mountainous areas to the southern rural, isolated clusters, which I loved. My ability to comprehend the grass-root needs of the community through customised research and being with the community helps fine-tune the program development, delivery, and closure.I also manage stakeholder correspondences between all the relevant bodies, developing reports for vast and diverse audiences for initiatives and programs being implemented or operationally facilitated by the organisation. To assist the Office Bearers in reporting updates on community matters to head-office of the Department of Community Affairs in Aiglemont, France. As an additional responsibility, I am designated as the ‘National Safety Officer’ for structural and non-structural risk mitigation and for creating a safer and healthier environment for personnel.

Handled corporate communication, explicitly dealing with panel clients, particularly the Micro Health Insurance Initiative of Jubilee Life, for which AKHS, P is a crucial service partner. Karachi Pakistan
As General Manager of Operations, I looked after operational, technical & financial functionalities in the Karachi office. I closely worked with the business development wing to identify growth areas and expand the customer base. I reported to the CEO and COO, who was stationed in Singapore. Identifying strategic areas for evolvement and assisting in implementing the short and long-term goals of the company was part of my responsibility. I initiated a well-defined process of continuous competitive analysis of the firm. I also undertook a complete revamp of the company's Content Management System, giving the company's online/web platforms a new identity.
  • Timesvr, Pte. Ltd
    Manager Client Relations
Timesvr, Pte. Ltd Feb 2009 - Feb 2010
    Karachi
Having a good understanding of business processes and client base and knowing the company’s dynamics, I was promoted to Manager of Client Relations to handle the global pool of clientele. Later I visited the USA, and since most of our clients were US-based, I met some of them and represented the company first-hand. I came back with a better understanding of the client’s needs, their perspective of our company, dissatisfaction, and future expectation, which helped revamp the company’s portal and selling propositions.
  • Timesvr, Pte. Ltd
    Offshore Business Assistant
Timesvr, Pte. Ltd Sep 2008 - Feb 2009
    Karachi
I Joined TimeSvr (A Singapore-based Virtual Assistant Firm), seeing its entrepreneurial, creative idea for providing web-based administrative and research assistance to clients globally while developing an in-house capacity. I worked with corporate and individual clients, mostly from developed countries, on their research and administrative projects. While working, I harnessed a great strength in guarding the clients’ privacy in online presence and business dealings, which many appreciated. This later became a unique selling point for the firm as well.
