About Barkha Jain

Hi, my name is Barkha, and I am currently the Co-founder and COO at i-engage where I oversee day-to-day operations and strategy development. I am a communication strategist, self-love advocate, and fitness enthusiast. I believe anything worth doing is worth doing with full energy and dedication. I am a Copywriter turned Chief Thinking Officer who fell in love with the creative and strategic parts of advertising. My journey began in 2005 with Srijan Advertising Agency, where I learned the ropes of copywriting while working on local and regional clients.In 2008, I won an award in the Think Negative Competition organized by Dainik Bhaskar, one of India's leading Hindi daily newspapers.Looking to expand my skillset, I joined Percept Swift Advertising in 2009, where I honed my leadership skills as a responsible head of the creative studio and a team of ten creative individuals.As the digital marketing revolution gained momentum, I shifted gears and became a Chief Thinking Officer at a digital marketing agency in 2012.I delved into social media marketing, with Twitter quickly becoming my favorite platform in 2013-14. However, the advertising industry is ever-evolving, and in 2015-16, Instagram started dominating the youth's minds in India. In 2015, the Indian Government launched the Smart City Campaign, and I was presented with an exciting opportunity from my first company, Srijan Advertising, to lead the project on the digital front. We worked tirelessly to engage citizens on digital platforms and help Indore secure a spot in the top 20 cities for development budgets. The Mayor of Indore, Mrs. Malini Gaur, took a personal interest in our efforts, and we achieved our goal.My passion for digital marketing and advertising led me to become the co-founder of a digital advertising agency, i-engage, in 2016. Since then, I have been involved in the agency's operations, working with a team of 20+ members on local and national clients.Throughout my career, I've collaborated with over 500 incredible clients and shared my knowledge with more than 50 budding marketing enthusiasts.I would love to chat with you about all things marketing and consumer behaviour!
