Longtime friend Mark Effinger introduced me to Seymour Segnit on various web projects, which led to our current crowdfunded project: the MAGFAST family of chargers - www.MAGFAST.com - a truly amazing product with fantastic market response and support. MAGFAST was inspired by the success of the thingCHARGER crowdfunding project which was launched at Indiegogo. We crushed our original goals, set a few records and we learned along the way. I have remained focused on scripted/web languages like php/html/css, javascript, and mySQL databases, as opposed to core programming languages like C++ although those used to be my focus long ago.I also have a strong background in sales, (inbound, outbound, print, telemarketing, end user, B2B) prior to the programming, graphics design and telecommunications experience.     thingCHARGER has been / is an amazing fun project to be associated with. The largest mobile accessory crowdfunding project to date, thingCHARGER was my introduction to crowdfunding, podcasting, media buying and even a few of my existing web skills had to be upgraded as I developed JSON data parsers and created javascript API routines for collecting and processing user data. A surprising number of people have already heard of thingCHARGER when I tell them about it, and we executed on big plans as we wrappped up 2015 and headed into 2016, including international versions. They are currently in a slow time as they prepare the next big thing.
