Barney has spent the last 20 years running his own creative companies and working as anECD/scriptwriter/director. He has a Radio/TV/Film training (BBC/Granada) and is especially interested in cinematic arts and culture.Over the past decades Barney's creative teams have produced work for a massive array of brands, sometimes directly but predominantly through the larger agencies. In 2009 Barney founded ShootGroup with Michelle Craig (Unit9 Films) to nurture first time directorial talent, in 2011 they formed Holster Studios which majored in interactive film-making, the company was acquired by Unit 9 in 2012. In 2013, with investment from The7Stars Barney (and ex-MD of GREY London, Hugo Feiler) founded Alpha Century; a creative agency aimed squarely at entrepreneurial brands.
