In addition to my interests in molecular genetics and cancer biology, I am doubly passionate about illustration, animation, and the fascinating world of scientific visualization. I hope to one day combine my experiences as both an artist and researcher to improve general accessibility to scientific concepts.In my current position with the Paull Lab, I assist in the research of DNA damage responses at the site of chromosomal double-stranded breaks in eukaryotic cells. Current techniques include but are not limited to, chromatin immunoprecipitation, light-activated CRISPR/Cas9, qPCR, mammalian cell culture, NGS library prep, SDS-Page electrophoresis, and western blot.
