Magistrate Regional Supervisor
Current- The magistrate regional supervisor is an independent judicial officer appointed by the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia. The magistrate regional supervisor manages chief magistrates and magistrates.
- Recruiting, managing, training and evaluating the chief magistrates and magistrates within the region.
- Developing, implementing and applying policies for the chief magistrates and magistrate within the region.
- Addressing and resolving conflicts and complaints
- Performing periodic management assessments to ensure citizens are provided appropriate access to the judicial system.
- Developing and maintaining good professional relationships with other OES departments, local courts, and other local agencies.
