Every Monday and Wednesday a group of Central Michigan University students gather at 8am to discuss updates in the Wall Street Journal. Every week we analyze the market in addition to hosting guest speakers who have background in the Finance industry. Pre-pandemic, these meetings were held at a local breakfast place -- Ponder Coffee and since I joined in January of 2021 they have been hosted virtually. Beginning in the Fall term of the upcoming school year, I will be taking over as President. This club has brought me such useful knowledge of the market and I can't wait to get back to it in the Fall!

In February of 2020, I joined a professional business fraternity on campus called Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE). I was elected to be the Vice President of Events in my first semester and I am loving the position. I am in charge of planning, organizing, and attending every event put on by our chapter. Through this position, I have had the opportunity to gain more leadership than ever before. This business fraternity offers endless opportunities and I am honored to be its Vice President of Events.

I am proud to announce that I have accepted an offer to join Northwestern Mutual's award-winning team as a Financial Representative intern during summer 2020 in Troy, Michigan. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge of finance, insurance, and entrepreneurship while working alongside seasoned industry professionals who will help me provide first-class financial security for my clients. Special thanks to Sadie Grobbel and Wardell Littles and the whole Troy team. I can't wait to take on the challenges that await me!

In August 2018, I was accepted into the Business Residential College (BRC) at Central Michigan University. This professional living and learning college housed 30 business-driven freshman, helping us adapt to college life with like-minded individuals. As an active member, which is only the first year of the program, we had to complete weekly study hour requirements to ensure good study habits, and community service hour requirements to keep us involved in the local community. We also had education-course requirements to keep us engaged in the academic demands of a business student, and to help us learn more about the industry and how to succeed in business. As an alumni of the Business Residential College, now a sophomore at CMU, I attend professional events to network with the new class of the BRC, as well as participate in a Q&A panel at alumni events hosted for the new students to ask alumni questions about our experiences in the BRC.

In the summer of 2019, I had the exciting opportunity to be a Front Desk Sales intern for the Grand Beach Sugar Beach Resorts in Traverse City, MI. Throughout my internship, I sold over $270,000 in rooms for the resort, which earned me the "Top Sales Intern" award. In addition to selling rooms, I learned communication skills in handling guest situations, solving problems, and providing outstanding hospitality.
