In my current role, I lead teams in delivering cloud engineering solutions for government and public sector entities. Meeting with clients in-person, discussing problems, and creating solutions to meet their specified needs in a timely fashion and on budget are some of the ways I foster relationships. I oversee budgets of various sizes across all engagements. Additionally, I also mentor junior staff, senior consultants, and managers and identify talent, build highly effective teams, and lead development and training.A few notable achievements so far include:• I served as the executive architecture and engineering lead for Department of Defense (DoD) Artificial Intelligence (AI) greenfield cloud environment and directed AWS Defense, Securities, and Justice Tiger-Team.• I led Deloitte's Government and Public Sector ATADATA practice that has driven the enhancement of the ATADATA product suite to support federal entities including achieving an ATO (authority to operate) at Army.• Customer infrastructure discovery was executed through automation and/or proven methodologies to build cloud migration roadmap and execute the migration.• I exceeded sales goal $4.65M by 173% ($8.07M) and the Managed Revenue goal of $2.12M by 301% ($6.39M).

In this position, I facilitated the planning and execution of cloud migration solutions, identifying technical requirements, and building custom solutions to achieve customer demands for cloud migration strategies. I championed ATADATA's value proposition with internal partners and utilized my extensive knowledge of ATADATA's technology, cloud, virtualization, and storage to contribute to the customer's success. Relationships with key alliance partners were maintained including AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, and SAP. I directed a team of engineers to execute proof of concept demonstrations with clients. As Systems Engineering Manager, I orchestrated oversight of a team of engineers to maintain Linux and Windows Cloud servers for federal clients. We ensured the smooth operations of Windows and Linux virtual machines and associated storage, networks, and alerting systems. I coordinated with Sales and Technical accounting professionals to deliver pre-sales solution engineering and post-sales steady state support. Project tasks were delegated to various teams, leveraging sound technical knowledge and superior communication skills to deploy effective solutions.Some select achievements from this role included:• I successfully managed servers and infrastructure in FedRAMP, ITAR, and other secured environments.• I grew the team from a single person per client to a multi-person and multiple client team, and I oversaw the team during client growth of over 500%.• Automated processes and methodologies were developed that increased efficiencies across client systems and reduced support man-hours by over 40%

While employed at PRGX, I served as the lead infrastructure engineer for our new Hadoop initiative using Cloudera's Datahub edition. The transformation of replacing our legacy systems with commodity hardware was driven by me. I led the infrastructure team in the design of new policies and procedures and supported the development and production of HDFS, Impala, Hive, MySQL, hbase, Sentry, SQOOP, YARN, Oozie, Hue, and zookeeper. Support was provided 24/7/365 in a co-located datacenter for worldwide operations and employed protocols to safeguard stability and efficiency. I implemented and maintained all aspects of information technology systems and solutions and conveyed recommendations on upcoming technology needs and priorities to executive management.Some of the value I provided was:• Productivity was maximized by upgrading the legacy systems and minimizing the amount of system time required to run ETL processes while also reducing Windows and Microsoft SQL footprint and dependency on expensive SAN storage.• I spearheaded the consolidation of virtual hosts from 150+ aging systems to 50 new UCS blades.• Migration and consolidation of systems was driven from an aging IBM storage to the new Netapp storage.

As Lead Systems Engineer, I provided maintenance and support for corporate systems including Private VMware Cloud, Windows, and Linux for 4,000+ corporate end users with 500+ physical and virtual machines. I architected, designed, and deployed HP C-Class blade infrastructure for VMware private cloud production, dev/test, and DR machines. Multiple SAN upgrades were conducted including OS upgrades and full system swap outs and upgrades. In collaboration with programmers and DBAs, we ensured application efficiency and uptime. Additionally, I researched and employed novel and improved methods to maximize uptime and application availability.I am most proud of the following contributions:• I accomplished a progressive upgrade of the entire organization from ESX 3.x to ESX.4.1 to ESX 5x..• Efficiency was boosted through the redesign of storage controls and policies.
