About Barney Mason
Currently Design Director at LeapX in Shenzhen. Previously Co-founder of design studio Those Ltd. At Those I led the hardware development of our first product, the large scale robotic drawing system known as Joto-X which has since featured in campaigns for Adidas, Twitter, Netflix, moleskine and many more. Building on the foundation of Joto-X, our consumer facing product Joto was developed from initial sketch, through successful Kickstarter campaign and onto mass manufacture in China. Joto was awarded the public vote for design of the year at the London Design Museum. Prior to this I had the pleasure to work on freelance projects with Sugru, Moo and 3doodler and honed my skills designing toys for the biggest names in the industry.
