I work alongside a team of engineers to deliver events for Queens University & The Students Union. Our team is responsible for all technical aspects of production. I have worked a wide range of events from small clubs to international touring bands. My main responsiblities are:- Constructing stages, lighting trusses and PAs - Setting up, wiring and patching controllable lighting fixtures- Setting up sound systems and monitoring sound levels during the live event. - De rigging, packing down and unloading equipment. Delivering a high quality experience for a large amount of people, while working within a budget.Working throughout the event, from preparing the site to assisting pack down.Through my time working with Sunflowerfest, I have also gained experience in; Volunteer Management: Volunteer training pre-event, including health and safety, and promoting the ethos of the festival.Social Media: Creating graphic and video content. Understanding and using marketing effectively on social media platforms.Outreach: Representing Sunflowerfest at events, and attending conferences to explore networking opportunities.
