Hello! Name is Amber and I am 32, living in Austin, Texas. I have an amazing 6 year old son named Bruce, after my hero - Batman. I did not know at the time how well the name Bruce would fit him until 6 months old. He has a rare syndrome that affects a lot of areas in his life.1 in 14,000 kids get this syndrome (Beckwith Weidemann Syndrome). He is always strong, big smile, and my main inspiration in life. His positive personality pushes me to be a better person, helps me stay determined, hard working, and my main inspiration in every way- including furthering my education. Cyber Security is not only a passion I have, but it is the current and growing future of our protection. I want to be educated and prepared for my tiny human. am always uplifting anywhere I go, whether it be work or home. I go by my personal favorite saying, " Negative thinking will not lead to positive results." I believe in positive reinforcement, surroundings, my attitude towards goals, etc.. I love challenges, and I have had some tough ones in the past that without that positive outlook and support from family, friends, coworkers, etc.. I may not be where I am today after recovering from two traumatic brain injuries, and losing my husband - an outstanding Army Veteran who suffered from PTSD. I view these events as achievements in which I learned that life can seem like it's crashing in, but keep focused and use that energy of the many emotions and form it into the vision you dream your loved ones see you reach My vision includes my husband, my father, and my son. Life is full of lessons- whether they be simple or challenging- with the correct mind frame, support, and the endless knowledge accessible-- success is there for the taking..
