Our 16 terminal learning centre became a “show piece” for many of CDC’s clients including Standard Bank, ABSA and SAB.SAA recognised our pioneering work, and sent me to regular ADCIS (Association for the Development of Computer-Based Instructional Systems) seminars in the USA, where I met, and developed connections, and even worked with some great minds like:Donald Bitzer - Considered the father of CBT and PLATO, CDC’s Computer-Assisted Instruction (CAI) platform.David Merrill - Professor emeritus at Utah State UniversitySteve Alessi - Associate Professor - Instructional Design and Technology - University of IowaTom Reeves – Professor of Instructional Technology at The University of GeorgiaStan Trollip - Director of Learning Strategies at Capella University
