After completing my PhD at the Cranfield University in the UK in 2002, I accepted a faculty position (Assistant Professor) at Arizona State University in the Supply Chain Management Department within the W.P. Carey School of Business. At ASU, I taught several sections of the capstone upper division SCM class on Supply Chain Strategy. I got to teach amazing and intelligent students as they are about to launch into their professional career and I love being part of the classroom. Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Operations and Supply Chain Management group at Marquette University. At Marquette, I work with some amazing Undergraduates and Exec. MBAs, teaching Supply Chain Strategy.My research is generally centered around two main areas: Collaboration and collaborative planning in retail supply chains; and retail operations, looking at the interactions between people, processes, and technology, with a particular focus on inventory record inaccuracy. Over the last eighteen years, I facilitated a lot of Executive Education and Development with numerous companies including Accenture, Arthur Andersen, AON, CPG Markets.Com, Colgate-Palmolive, Gap, Geest PLC, Heineken, John Deere, John Menzies, L’Oreal, Lufthansa, Maersk, NTL, Procter and Gamble, and Sigma-Kalon.Specialties: Collaboration across the supply chain, information sharing and visibility, inventory accuracy, and supply chain integration, retail sector.
