Working on an FDA/ GPM/ ISO regulated environment, assigned tasks included:• QC Testing of Microarrays• QC Testing of Reagents by preparing PCR and running Assays on INFINITI and INFINITI HTS platforms, including: o Women's Health Assays, Factor II, V, MTHFR, HCV, HPV, 2D6BC, CYP2C19, 2C9-VKORC1, AMD, CFTR31A• Conduct Stability Studies• Troubleshoot Assays through NCMR's• Carry out investigations of returned orders• Prepare Assays Performance, Scrap and QC Reports• Applying Process Control on Instrument Manufacturing Floor• Inspection of Incoming Materials• Write and maintain SOP’s for QC Testing and Instrument Manufacturing• Assist carrying out CO's, Variances and CAPA's• Conduct Internal Audits• Company-wide equipment management o Update Equipment Master List. Provide Calibration and PM labels o Perform and schedule Calibrations o Schedule Preventative Maintenance and Repairs o Being the point of contact with Calibration and Repair Vendors o Perform IQ/OQ/PQ and write Instrument TP's and RT's o Review of Device History Records, Visual Inspection and Functional testing of INFINITI and INFINITI HTS platforms running IVD and non-IVD assays • Employee training

• General laboratory duties in a GMP environment including inventory of chemicals and cultures, and preparation and review of SOP’s• Inoculation, daily maintenance, sampling and testing of algae cultures to ensure healthy growth• Selection by PCR and microscope of optimal algal cultures • Perform data acquisition through a LIMS database and analyze daily reports to determine overall culture health and experiment progress as well as necessity to reanalyze samples• Scaling-up of cultures and harvesting of algae paste using centrifugation techniques• Completion of batch records and laboratory notebooks• Carried out experiments to determine the most advantegous growing conditions for micro-algae Haematococcus Pluvialis

Responsible for conducting chemical, physical and microbiological analyses on Spirulina powder according to GMP

Developing the project "levels of lead concentration in materials and utensils", taking as adviser Maria Del Socorro Romero Hernandez, Ph D., researcher at the Institute of Engineering. Thesis of the project was to determine the concentration of lead in utensils of daily use, such as ceramic plates and cups, using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy.
