PARTNERSHIP FOR INNOVATION – REDESIGNED CARE – I led the transformation of an Oncology Center of Excellence at HealthPartners system to focus on the patient’s needs which resulted in a more seamless approach to care. HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY ADVOCATE - Committed to public policy and industry advocacy, I have been active in legislative issues affecting health care on the federal and state level. I have provided testimony at the State Capitol and also attended CMS and Med Pac in Washington, DC on important regulatory issues. ROOTS IN NURSING FOR DIVERSE POPULATIONS – I began my career as a bedside nurse in inner-city neighborhoods which impacted my life’s work. I continue to focus on redesigning and aligning care delivery services to respond quickly to changing and diverse communities. Ongoing commitment to DEI Training and Education.
