Barrett Engineering of Raleigh, North Carolina provides extensive accident investigation, including forensics investigation to auto, truck, motorcycle, vehicle accidents, as well as investigations into the origins and causes of industrial accidents. We've provided engineering forensic consultation on nearly 4,000 cases, including almost 2,000 vehicle incidents involving automobiles, trucks, bicycles, and motorcycles. Nearly 200 cases have involved agricultural equipment, airplanes, off-road recreational vehicles, and boats. We can download and analyze airbag control modules and truck trip recording data (black boxes).Over 1,000 fires have been analyzed for causes and origins, as well as possible equipment malfunctions or violations of codes and standards.We also work with industrial accidents associated with construction, textiles, plastic molding, woodworking, food processing, and welding, often determining guarding and on-site safety adequacy.
