CurrentCurrent Employment:IKEA, ReadingLocal Facility Management Specialist• Support the Regional Facilities Manager, on a day-to-day basis, with the organisation of the daily FM routines (inspection, testing, and maintenance; both internal work and work executed by an external FM supplier• Reduced machine breakdowns by implementing a preventive maintenance regime (less call outs needed)• Implementing a reuse way of working within the team for environmental and cost savings • Leading the team in a proactive way to deal with issues, building good relationships with other teams on site • Use of Computer Aided FM tool to view and update inspections, testing and maintenance (Maximo) • Support the Regional Facilities Manager to create and maintain a register of assets, locations, suppliers, planned maintenance schedules• Support, advise and mentor multiple contractors within the FM team• Weekly out-of-hours on call service for any emergencies arising • Assist the Regional FM Manager in cost controlling by working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way using/sharing good examples and encouraging colleagues to find more effective ways of working
