I was the SPOC for the Source to Settle team for the JAPAC region. This entails includes the Procurement/Sourcing, Accounts Payables, Expenses and Travel departments. I also work closely the transactional/tactical functions of the Source to Settle operation that is based offshore. My initial remit was to build the regional team as the company was growing and to enaure that global processes & policies were being rolled out and followed. Achievements.Being the regional lead on the team to implemented the e-procurement system across the region at the same time we were upgrading our back-end finance system. This entailed looking out our global processes and where necessary make adjustments to meet local requirements. We also then moved our transactional processes off shore to an outsourced third party.Other project related achievements were lead the sourcing engagement during multiple office fit-outs and relocations in Japan, Australia, India and Singapore.

As Operations manager I was in charge of the Warehouse and associated functions as well as the total operation of the office and the Administration. This including the Purchasing, Order entry, Spare Parts, Service and maintenance.

In this job I was in charge of both the Warehousing and Purchasing functions of the organisation. Medtel was a medical supply company supplying medical equipment and consumables to hospitals, clinics and private practices. They also provided calibration services, service and maintainence services.

Managed the Operational aspects of the company including, Order Processing, Purchasing, Warehousing and the Logistics. Leisure Brands marketed sporting and leisure goods such as Zoggs Swimming accessories, LiLo Leisure products and Rawlings baseball equipment.My major achievement while in this job was to relocate the warehouse operation from Sydney to Melbourne to a third party logistic provider.

NetComm was a computer modem manufacturer. I started out as a buyer, procuring electronic components to meet production. Initially majority of the components were bought through re-sellers in Australia. I identified that as our volumes increased that manufacturers would start to deal with us directly. So I identified and introduced a number of overseas suppliers, which we started to buy from, and hence produced considerable cost savings.
