In the position of Senior Safety Supervisor, Barron is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing project safety on many jobs throughout the country. He coordinates with project teams and helps to develop the site-specific safety plan for that job site. He meets with clients in order to reassure them that their projects will be completed in a safe manner. He also meets with employees, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that everyone understands the MW Builders' philosophy on safety. Barron is also the chairman of the MW Builders Safety Committee. Barron acts as a liaison between the company and government entities such as OSHA, USACE, EPA, etc.

• Performed all job site orientations, hold subcontractor preconstruction safety meetings prior to each subcontractor beginning work, participate in weekly planning and scheduling meetings. • Conducted weekly safety meetings for over 150 jobsite personnel, safety audits, accident, incident & near miss investigations with post investigation meeting and implementation of necessary changes. • Particularly familiar with the United States Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 Safety & Health Requirements Manual.• Maintain a working relationship with project supervision, contractors & subcontractors, insurance carrier representatives, local medical services, community fire departments, OSHA, WISHA and other safety agencies; provide liaison with client personnel on safety related matters.• Ensured that we were within ISO 140001 compliance standards.

Barron Baldwin is Vice-President of Risk Analysis at L. Baldwin & Associates LLC. He is an accomplished Professional Safety Specialist with nearly 20 years of experience in public and private industry safety.As Vice-President of Risk Analysis, Barron is responsible for investigating and ensuring all aspects of safety supervision including; development of site-specific safety plans, JHA’s, implementation and coordination of client site-specific safety programs, review of existing site-specific safety programs and submittal of issue corrections if appropriate. He maintains in-depth knowledge of all applicable OSHA governmental safety and health standards and coordinates application and administration of such requirements at client sites.As a former Police Officer and most recently Certified OSHA Trainer, Barron’s background in both public and private safety sectors uniquely equips him to fully investigate and document all levels and types of incidents. He has a strong background in communication, both written and verbal; and is proficient at working in a variety of work settings.Barron is skilled in communicating and working with OSHA, Local & State regulatory agencies, the EPA and ISO auditors. He is an accomplished trainer both on-site and in the classroom.

Barron began working for the city of Des Moines as a Reserve Police Officer in 1997 where he volunteered his time for two years before making this his full time career in 1999. As a Police Officer, Barron's duties included crisis intervention, accident investigation, criminal investigation, narcotics investigation, peer counseling, evidence procedures, report writing, courtroom testimony. In 2003 Barron was assigned to King County Sheriffs Office as a Detective in their Special Enforcement Unit. Barron has specialized training in SWAT, Interview Techniques, Surveillance, Dignitary Protection, Gang Investigations, Peer Counseling and Crisis Management.
