- Troubleshoot electrical systems and subsystems and maintain pneumatic/mechanical systems- Test electronics units and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken- Adjust or replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry or electronics components- Perform preventative maintenance or calibration of equipment or systems.- Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications to determine installation procedures

- Fabricate composite materials, maintain avionics systems, and operate and repair hydraulics systems- Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software- Maintain system logs or manuals to document testing or operation of equipment- Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications- Read technical manuals, confer with users and provide technical assistance and support- Assemble, test, or maintain circuitry or electronic components, according to engineering instructions- Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software- Repair or adjust equipment, machines, or defective components, replacing worn parts as needed- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to detect and prevent problems
