Working closely with the rest of the core engineering team for a suite of Digital Asset Management (DAM) software applications, I was responsible for building new features of NorthplainsNEXT. I worked remotely from France.Responsibilities:- writing HTML markup, SASS, and JavaScript to implement new UI features to match designs provided by the UI/UX team.- ensuring implemented designs matched mocks and style guide pixel-perfectly.- thoroughly code-reviewing new features and bug fixes via pull requests created by colleagues.- performing cross-browser testing to ensure a seamless user experience.- participating in ticket estimate/planning poker sessions with the rest of the distributed team.- writing technical documentation.Technical stack used:- HTML, SASS for CSS, JavaScript - ECMA 6, PrototypeJS, jQuery.- Gradle as a build tool.- Git for version control. I was the head of a Professional Services team of developers. Organising developers time on projects and assisting them with any technical problems they have. I aim to help them understand why the problem occurred and how to find the root cause of it. Shaping the way they approach problems is key to them solving similar issues in the future.I've become an expert at building JavaScript widgets, primarily with our in-house JS framework and our Unify platform's content management.
