Working closely with the rest of the core engineering team for a suite of Digital Asset Management (DAM) software applications, I was responsible for building new features of NorthplainsNEXT. I worked remotely from France.Responsibilities:- writing HTML markup, SASS, and JavaScript to implement new UI features to match designs provided by the UI/UX team.- ensuring implemented designs matched mocks and style guide pixel-perfectly.- thoroughly code-reviewing new features and bug fixes via pull requests created by colleagues.- performing cross-browser testing to ensure a seamless user experience.- participating in ticket estimate/planning poker sessions with the rest of the distributed team.- writing technical documentation.Technical stack used:- HTML, SASS for CSS, JavaScript - ECMA 6, PrototypeJS, jQuery.- Gradle as a build tool.- Git for version control.
