Also aid the business if any difficulties are encountered during the process of allocating costs to line code and customer level supporting the business ensuring they have correct information for the decision making process.• General Ledger and profit centre accounting. Aid the business if they encounter issues in relation to the finance ledgers.• Non standard project work. When the team is required to deliver important or non standard work selected ahead of peers to deliver.

• Secondment to broaden commercial accounting experience within Nestle Confectionary (UK). Worked on a number of areas including development of a price elasticity model, promotional analysis, new product costing, cost impact of transferring products between factories, sales evaluation and ad hoc project work such as profitability analysis on a proposed capital expenditure.

Role SAP Factory Finance Implementation (Jan ‘03 to Dec ‘06)• Prior to Implementation: Assessment of global template identifying potential impacts on existing ways of working. Submitted SAP product costing configuration giving in depth understanding of the system and its capability. Training Super users including development of a training programme that was informative yet not intimidating. Lead testing programme for factory finance. • Implementation: With strongest understanding, of the subject, chosen to lead the first implementation in the UK - Pet food factory (October 2004). Supported the site with their budget and daily checks. Part of the team that supported the first Period End for Purina that was completed successfully, on time. Built on this as costing lead for 2 confectionary factory implementations (May 2005). For the Nestlé Waters UK implementation and CPUK implementation (October 2006) also took on roles previously undertaken by external SAP consultants.• Post Implementation: Worked to ensure the solution was fully embedded whilst supporting best practice and business excellence. Recognised as expert and went to Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen to pass on learnings from the UK implementation.• Non-technical: Project allowed me to develop soft skills including presentations, training, coaching, leadership and influencing skills. Able to understand complex technical issues, but are able to explain them in a non-technical accessible way. Close working across streams developed a good working knowledge of other processes (e.g. manufacturing, engineering and master data.)
