At Columbia Threadneedle, I lead a team responsible for all of the firm’s thought leadership efforts, developing our strategic goals, partnering with colleagues across the firm, and creating engaging, dynamic content to support new and existing products and key firm initiatives. It’s my responsibility to ensure that our content is differentiated, in the right place at the right time, and is driving results. I work closely with leadership colleagues across the firm, including institutional and intermediary distribution, investment management, and product management.

In this role, I acted as chief product evangelist for multi asset and alternative strategies for our US$100B institutional business, leading the creation of all marketing material including presentations, RFPs, portfolio commentary, thought leadership, and ad hoc materials for use with clients, prospects, and consultants.

Greater New York City Area

At J. & W. Seligman & Co, I set strategy and led the communication effort for the firm’s institutional asset management business, creating marketing material, product commentaries, web content, value-add campaigns and events. While there, I collaborated on re-branding the firm, and conceived and produced moderated panel discussions on capital markets and the economy. I managed a team of writers and designers, overseeing their daily work, and collaborating on career paths.

At Dreyfus, I directed and managed our $3.0MM direct to consumer effort to 1.2 million mutual fund investors, creating and implementing upsell and cross sell campaigns. I planned, budgeted and managed the creation of all customer communication: newsletters, educational materials, notifications, and direct mail. I tracked the success/efficiency of all communication efforts and we doubled our direct mail response rates during my tenure. I managed two direct reports and the efforts of additional writers and designers on a project basis.
