Subcontractor assigned to Delphinus Engineering Inc., Norfolk, Virginia as the Lead Logistics specialist for the Moored Training Ship (MTS) Ex- Daniel Webster project at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.Responsible for identifying vendors for procurement of over 2,000 replacement repair parts and consumables for the MTS project from ships plans and aged history.Processed over 600 Purchase Order requests through the company’s purchasing department.Controlled material trailer for all material issues for 1st and 2nd shifts for all daily work material requirements.Completed over 100 local delivery and pick-ups for fast moving material detrimental for daily work assignments so project would meet all timely milestones.Maintained project spreadsheet of all material procured for MTS project for daily updates to Delphinus project managers and government representatives assigned to the Moored Training Ship Project.

Responsible for Command Budget, Inventory Control, Repairable management, Hazmat program, Credit card program and military personnel management.

Leading Chief for the detachment. Provided supply support to the six helicopter squadrons on base and the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) ensuring all COMNAVAIR policies were enforced.Monitored inventory transactions at warehouse facilities to include receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity for over $350M in Repairable / Depot Level Parts.Tracked all stock, squadron, and fleet readiness requisitions to ensure supply databases were updated correctly and on time through the following supply systems: R-Supply, Nalcomis, One Touch, DRMS, and various other systems.Re-implemented a dormant location audit integrity program. Trained all military and civilian personnel on Inventory Barcoding System (IBS) and its program procedures to 100 percent auditability of daily repairable parts received and 100 percent repairable parts returned from maintenance facilities.Directed and monitored the following programs: credit card, contracts, urinalysis, and security clearances.Managed 45 military and 9 civilians.

Logistics Officer for the Afghan Commando and Afghan Special Forces training program located at Camp Morehead. Accountable and responsible for all material issued during each of the seven training cycles during assigned deployment. Logistics mentor the Afghan Logistics Officers from the Commando Brigade, Camp Morehead Garrison and their junior officers. Assigned as the Senior Non-Commissioned Officer for all U.S. enlisted personnel attached to Task Force Morehead.Fielded over $75 million in vehicles, weapons, communication equipment, and gear to the Afghan National Army Commandos and $165 million in equipment to the Afghan Special Forces Units.Created a tracking and fielding spreadsheet for all past, present, and future units that is being utilized by all fielding sites in Afghanistan by the International Security Forces-Afghanistan.Trained and mentored Afghan Logistics Officers, U.S. Army/ Air Force Officers, and junior NCO’s in equipment fielding and inventory tracking.Managed 18 military and 3 civilian contractors.

Senior enlisted advisor for FISC Detachment Everett responsible for managing and enforcing NAVSUP/FISC policies, leadership issues for command Sailors and civilian workers.Supervised the work of logistic specialist, planners, or schedulers.Maintained metrics, reports, process documentations, customer service logs, and training or safety records.Established and monitored specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.

Supply Department’s Senior Non-Commissioned Officer. Led the department and his division through two supply management certifications and qualified for the Navy Blue “E” on both assessments. Ensured the division followed all Surface Supply procedures and SURFLANT policies.Directed team activities, establishing task priorities, shortages, shipments, expenditures, ships budget, hazmat program, credit card program and ships liaison on all foreign ship visits.Ensured zero carcass charges on all present and prior fiscal years for the depot level repairable program.Analyzed monthly departmental budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls.Monitored inventory integrity of over 20K consumable and repairable parts in four storerooms.Expedited over 1,500 casualty and high priority parts during deployments to the Mediterranean and South Pacific.Managed 45 military personnel.

Created the new inventory branch for Naval Air Station Jacksonville’s Supply Department.Scheduled, coordinated, and conducted inventories of over 5K repairable and 30K consumable line items in 10 storerooms quarterly utilizing R-Supply and Integrated Barcode System (IBS).Implemented the database conversion from Tandem to R-Supply and back fitted over 5K requisitions.Created a rigorous location audit program utilizing the Integrated Barcode System. Trained all newly reporting military and civilians in the use of the supply system database and inventory procedures.Managed 15 military and 3 civilians.

Served at the following naval commands as a junior Storekeeper: USS O’Bannon DD-987, Naval Hospital Orlando FL, Naval Submarine Support Facility Groton CT, Naval Support Activity Naples Italy. While assigned at these commands I served as a contracting agent, storeroom supply clerk, afloat accounting supervisor, and ships liaison officer. Reported all Budget OPTAR Reports (BOR) and transaction ledgers (TL’s) for 21 fast attack submarines and 2 squadrons to include bi-monthly transaction ledgers.Contracting agent for all open purchases for the following hospital departments: Operating room, Ortho, Pharmacy, Radiology and Urology.Liaison between all US Naval vessels and the local national contractors throughout mainland Italy for over 85 ship visits, assisted in the implementation of the Mediterranean Logistics Services contract for all Italian ports of interests.A junior Storekeeper and Logistics Specialist responsible for customer service, general storekeeping and hazmat control.
