As an assistant engineer on the Kinsale road interchange I gained invaluable experience in the construction of roads and bridges. My main duties included ordering materials, setting out construction wires to ensure correct levels of material was laid in keeping with regulation depths and densities required, and keeping track of deliveries while in constant.

As a general workman I was working in a team resurfacing roads around the country my main duties included insuring the correct level of material was laid on the road, ensuring safety controls were put in place, and operating heavy machinery.
