South London Movers has quickly developed into a strong moving brand within London & Surrey. Offering bespoke removal & storage services to the private and commercial sectors.

We took our experiences of how other storage companies operated, the profit-centric, entitled mentality established storage companies go about their day to day with and we decided to solve the problem and do storage better.

This was a business which was purchased between myself & Ward Thomas Group (WTG). A deal was structured to be beneficial for 4 parties within the takeover and incorporation. The business at time of incorporation was managed under my guidance alongside a bigger role for WTG. At the forefront, the core goal was to handle the recent takeover and make all necessary changes to deliver profitability, whilst undergoing a leadership and re-branding exercise. The backseat role was to identify opportunities within the group of companies and develop leaner processes/sales revenue’s and implement these accordingly. Companies involved within the WTG included Ward Thomas Removals, Aussie Man & Van and WH Cox & Son removals with a combined revenue of £7million.

My arrival at Clockwork was handling an acquisition that hadn’t worked to their expectations; operating from fleet & turnover that was decreasing each year. Within these 2 years, the branch exceeded board expectations and secured re-investment of an increased budget for new fleet & staffing. Whilst continuing to excel and become a profitable contributor to the group.

Conceived and setup a new company. Confirmed the fashion position and negotiated involvement and contracts with all current and prospect retailers/stockists throughout UK/Europe. Securing & negotiating pricing per quantities on fabrics with manufacturers within Portugal. The business had a presence within Australia, America, UK, Switzerland and France through online retailers. The business was thriving in a general bubble for independent clothing labels. However, the business struggled when our 3rd season was being developed and it faced multiple delays and issues in manufacturing, delivery, quality and cost. Fundamentally, when cashflow got tight and there was no investor around the business had to close.

Relocasia came about via an agency within the UK handling their recruitment. Relocasia had expanded into 3 continents and 7 offices within a short timeframe from start up. This ultimately cost the Directors focus to be overstretched and it was my role to assist the continent manager of Asia in looking after their flagship offices and striving to become the main sales revenue/driver for the company. All work was international assignments within a private and corporate environment.
