Senior Rail Engineering Surveyor : Currently a lead Surveyor supporting a resurfacing crew on Ballast Cleaning Project. Providing guidance to a 09-3X Tamper with the use of the Gedo Vorsys Dual Trolley System. Ensuring Track Geometry is achieved each day and the track is returned in a safe condiditon with appropiate speed restrictions applied. In 2010 I graduated from Cork Institute of Technology with a BSc Honours Degree in Construction Management.Since graduating I have accumulated over 8 years experience working as Surveyor in Australia. Including alignment for crusher’s conveyor’s and pulleys, positioning and levels for all Steel Modules.Used Trimble S8 Robotic Total Station with TSC3 Controller and DiNi Digital Level.Reported to Head Engineer daily with all my Survey results.Hard consistent worker, working 77 hours per week on a 3:1 FIFO roster.

Engineering SurveyorSurex Surveyors Jan 2012 - Apr 2013Perth City Link Project, Perth.A member of a hard working Survey team consisting of 8 Surveyors.Responsible for carrying out a number of levelling and 3D surveys each day, as part of a monitoring procedure, in accordance with the survey manager’s instructions. I was assisted on these surveys by my own trainee. Monitoring was large and important aspect on this project, its purpose was to show any settlement on site or in nearby buildings due to on-going construction works. Results were vitally important each day and may have affected construction works.Carried out as-built surveys and assisted senior Surveyors with setting out surveys using a Leica Total station 1200 (with Viva Controller) and GPS. I reduced the data from each survey and checked for errors using a program called Star Net. All our as built surveys were shown using Terramodel.Proving to be a hard dedicated and consistent worker, showing excellent punctuality and the ability to work 55 hours per week.
