As a Program Manager for Credit Risk Reporting within the overall BCBS 239 Program, I lead a team implementing a new BCBS 239 compliant reporting platform for Credit Risk. A “dual-hatted” role, I lead a Change team within CRO Change, as well as the IT delivery team implementing the platform. As program manager, I am responsible for leading this team to deliver a platform that covers all aspects of the data and reporting value chain, including data sourcing, data quality management, data warehousing, aggregation and report production.

The team are responsible for executing projects within the Core Investments business, covering Equities, Fixed Income, Index Solutions & Multi-Asset Class (MACs) solutions.• Establish appropriate governance for all change projects executing within AM Core Investments; ensuring that all projects are initiated, planned and executed under the appropriate governance & divisional controls;• Work as part of a large project to assess the overall FX hedging function and develop a new strategy, including the overall operating model, the introduction of best execution, trading oversight & transaction cost analysis. Initial workflows focused on key operational tasks including Investment Reporting, Billing and formalities handling (mandate and fund static data management). • Oversaw a project to completely restructure the Institutional Mandate billing process, including target operating model development and technology platform replacement;• Responsible for overall cost centre budgeting and forecasting for all consultants and external contractors across AM Core Investments; and• Working on various regulatory projects, including Too-Big-to-Fail and Proxy Voting (“Minder Initiative”).

As Head of Project Management Services, I lead a team of circa 70 project managers, program managers, portfolio managers, PMO staff and Quality Managers. This team is responsible for all IT solution delivery projects within the Investment Services & Products (IT ISP) department, covering Order & Trade Management (Front & Middle Office), Client Reporting & portions of Investment Management. As Program Manager for OTEx StreetSide, I lead a team of 60 members responsible for all aspects of the development of Credit Suisse global order management system. OTEx StreetSide supports Cash Equities, Fixed Income, ETF’s, Mutual Funds, Futures & Options and Structured Products. • Supervised an average annual budget of over CHF 12 million (circa CHF 55 mio to date).• Recruited over 50 team members for various OTEx StreetSide projects, including permanent staff members, contractors and off-shore vendors.• Produced financial plans, budget forecasts, status reports & proposals for the program steering committee and senior IT management.• Following Credit Suisse’s CMMI implementation framework, responsible for rolling out configuration management, requirements engineering, project planning & controlling, risk management, solution architecture and change management processes within the program.• Developed and executed a strategy to off-shore application maintenance activities to Pune, India.• Planned and tracked all resource requirements, work, risks & issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring deliveries met with business expectations in terms of timeliness, quality & costs.• Developed a technical strategy to acquire external order flow from Corporate & Institutional clients, as well as other Financial institutions via FIX &/or SWIFT.• Developed a strategy to roll out OTEx StreetSide to Singapore, as part of an overall global platform rollout.

As Senior Project Manager, I lead the team replacing the order management system (OMS) used by Client Execution Services to support it’s Equities, Fixed Income and Funds product lines. • Supervised an annual budget of USD $3.6 million for the development of UBS IB’s next generation order management system (OMS).• Planned & tracked all activities for the first phase of the next generation order management system.• Produced financial plans and budget forecasts for steering committee and senior IT management.• Planned and tracked all resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle.• Produced status reports for the project steering committee & other project stakeholders.• Tracked, reported and managed all project issues in conjunction with the business project director.

Actant develops trading software for the global equity & equity derivatives markets. As VP Product Development, I had responsibility for the strategic technical direction of the company’s product-line. • Part of the executive team that Trebled customer base; • As part of the executive management team, I have been involved in defining, communicating and managing the company’s strategic business plan; • Managed a team of 25 people involved in product development and customer support;• Retained responsibility for the company’s portfolio of development projects;• Initiated a quarterly product release cycle that resulted in over 90% of projects being delivered on time and on budget;• Involved in all aspects of HR development; and• Involved in relationship management with data vendors & senior IT and trading personnel at investment banks and exchanges such as CBOE.

This 150 employee company developed mobile payment solutions for the cellular prepay industry in North America. As the senior project manager, I managed the organisation’s portfolio of projects to delivery. • Lead teams of up to 15 Java engineers in the development of mCommerce solutions; • Managed the project portfolio through the complete development lifecycle; • Developed the annual department project roadmap; • Reported and communicated all project progress to stakeholders; and• Delivered the first version of Soft Tracks’ prepay top-up solution on time.

With over 5,000 employees, Telus Mobility is Canada’s largest wireless telecommunications provider. I was responsible for maintaining the company’s paging and cellular billing system for its’ 4 million customers in Canada. • Lead a team of 12 developers maintaining the company’s billing system; • Supervised an annual portfolio budget of CAD$1.5 million;• Planned and tracked all resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle;

Nifco Synergy developed software for the knowledge management industry in North America. The company employed 30 people. I managed the team responsible for all product development activities. • Lead a team of Java engineers developing internet based enterprise information portals (EIP’s);• Lead a team of C++ engineers developing an expert system to qualify manufactured goods for NAFTA preferential treatment; and• Lead a team of engineers developing a facilities management purchasing system.

Working for one of the largest stock exchanges in Europe, I was employed as the deputy team leader of the user interface development group. The team developed the Elektronische Börsen Schweiz (EBS) Trading System client, as well as the supervision & surveillance system. • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of the Elektronische Börsen Schweiz (EBS) Trading System; • Developed software using C++ and Motif on Unix (Solaris and Digital Unix); and• Designed and developed the exchange’s supervision and surveillance system.
