Clear Point Advisors, Inc. is a "Fee-Only" Registered Investment Advisor firm (RIA), managing more than $200 million as of December 31, 2023.For over 25 years, I have been the firm’s Managing Director and one of the Principals involved in the ongoing Investment and Wealth Management of our individual clients and business owners. Through various components of personal financial planning, Clear Point provides comprehensive advice to our high-net-worth clients, which include trusts, 401(k)s, retirement plans, pensions, and trust inherited assets. One of my goals is to guide investors through the frustrations and risks of dealing with uncertain and volatile markets. I assess each client’s existing portfolio of assets, risk tolerance, cash flow needs, tax situation, and survivor and retirement needs. The most frequent question I get is when can they retire. I utilize an Asset Allocation approach to design a portfolio for each individual client, which balances risk and return. No two clients have the same portfolio and we don't work with model portfolios.Our asset allocation program incorporates a risk-adjusted analysis of no-load, low-expense mutual funds, combined with exchange-traded funds, liquid alternatives, hedged equity strategies, buffered equity notes and individual securities, which may be included where appropriate.As "fee-only" Registered Investment Advisors, we do not earn commissions. We are "Fiduciaries", which requires us to act only in our client's best interest at all times. We do better when our clients do better.I graduated from SUNY Albany in 1983 and graduated with a BBA in Finance and Economics. I then earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Pace University Lubin Graduate School of Business in 1985. In addition to previously earning a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) *License, I previously held FINRA Series 7, 6, and Series 63 licenses. I currently hold a Series 65 license.
