As Head of Product Manufacturing at GOSH Cell and Gene Therapy Services I lead on the Production side of our GMP activities. My strong background in Immunology (PhD and 2 Post-Docs) paved the way for me to get in to ATMP manufacture. My first GMP position was to lead on the manufacture of CAR-T for a CRUK funded clinical trial for Neuroblastoma. From there I became Production Manager at GOSH.The build of the new ZCR-GMP Facility has brought exciting opportunities for GMP manufacturing at GOSH. After co-authoring the 5-year business plan for the facility we have been recruited and developed a team to take this facility forwards. My position as Head of Product Manufacturing is now supported by a Production manager for UCL/GOSH based projects. We are also now working with Virocell Biologics who are developing new manufacturing capability for Viral Vectors at GOSH.
