I am a co-founder and Director of Ultimate Products (UP), who are key suppliers of winning brands and promotions to retailers in the UK and across the world. My role is to help focus and develop the business on product branding and create a company which is focused on delivering quality consumer products to our customers and career opportunities to our employees. At the same time creating a sustainable profitable business for shareholders and employees alike. I act as a consultant advising on all types of matters and attending board meetings in order to provide influence to the companies overall strategy. I co-founded UP with Simon Showman in 1997 and have seen it grown from 3 people in a small room to a £50m+ business. Having opened offices in Guangzhou, UP is renowned for our innovative best-selling designs under brands we own (E.G. Beldray), others we license (E.G. Russell Hobbs) and those we’ve developed as leading private labels. We are valued partners of major retailers in the Americas, Australasia, the Middle East, the UK and the rest of Europe. Our key focus and strategy is on our portfolio of well-regarded brands including Beldray, Russell Hobbs, Salter, Constellation, ZFrame, Inspire, Swan, American Originals, Intempo and Giles & Posner.I am a well-respected member of the business community and use my 47 years of business experience and vast connections to advise and guide the business direction.Following private equity backing in 2006, we have recently bought the business back to drive a new phase of dynamic growth in all our markets. Revenues in excess of £50m today are targeted to double by 2017.
