Currently I am employed my Thames Ambulance Service as an Emergency care Assistant working on their contract with East of Endland Ambulance Service and Hospitals in London and Essex and South Central Ambulance Service. In this role I am frequently presented with difficult and stressful situations, where dealing with others in a delicate manner is essential to coming to a positive and acceptable conclusion for all parties. The experience I have gained within this role has given me a good understanding of what will be required as an Emergency Ambulance Crew personnel. I feel these Patient care skills I have acquired will give me a solid grounding to becoming a competent and reliable member of the Ambulance Service. I am always interested in learning new skills and would be committed to both the role and the vision of the service that I would be representing. I am a good team player who can be a leader or work within a team, but I have also worked alone and on my own initiative. I am highly motivated and can motivate a team. I can keep a cool head when under pressure in stressful situations. I am reliable, committed, proactive, dedicated and enthusiastic and will make a good role model for the Ambulance Service in upholding its values and reputation. I like meeting people and find it easy to converse with all ages, sexes, and religions in these modern and diverse times. I hold a clean full UK manual driving license which includes category C1 and I also hold an IHCD emergency Blue light driving certificate gained in December 2012. I am also a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with 6 years experience working in a workshop environment. Whilst in this role I drove all manner of vehicles from cars to 7.5 ton Lorries including breakdown rescue vehicles in and around London and the Home Counties.
