The engine sizes ranging from 250Kw to 9000Kw and varying injection technologies (common rail, PLD and mechanically driven pumps)I am responsible for the repair of engines and associated control systems, completing reports, sourcing parts and liaising with customers, ensuring that resolutions are found for any issues that may have occurred. As a master technitian for VW, I mostly carried out diagnostic work and problem solving, also extensive repair work.I also had to attend regular meetings at VW head UK office to discuss new functions and products being released and provide in house training.Other responsibilities were qulity control of the the other technician work and liaising with customers.
