Yotme is an event management, silent auction and virtual venue platform. As CEO I built and managed all aspects of the platform, from funding, technology, sales, strategy and management. As the second company that I founded I got much more adept at three key aspect of growth: sales, technology development and management. Yotme was sold in September of 2022, unfortunately the final two years of Yotme was not easy. The events business, due to covid essentially closed for 2 years and hasn't really recovered. Though it's not easy to admit defeat, I will say confidently that I learned more about myself and business during this experience than I did being a founder of a company, Bullhorn, that sold for over 100 million USD. To be able to be reflective and contrite about what I did and didn't do well, to me, is a learning experience that has oddly given me more confidence and drive that I could have imagined. We certainly learn by doing and I've heard many people say that their biggest success' are their failures. There is wisdom to those words, as experience and humility are the keys to growth.

Helped build company from conception to multi-million dollar company. Co-founded with Art Papas and Roger Colvin. Raised several rounds of private and institutional financing. We grew company to the industry leader in staffing and recruiting CRM Software by building great products around new technology and supported by superior customer service. Met and generally exceeded quarter over quarter revenue goals for 10 years with 20+ % compounded annual growth. Personally led expansion to Europe, where our number one competitor is located, and set foundation for what is now fastest growing division of Bullhorn. Bullhorn was acquired in June of 2012.

Sold internet infrastructure, hosting, bandwidth, security, remote access etc.. Territory was Colorado and Utah. Company was acquired by GTE. Left to found Bullhorn after layers of phone company management came crashing down on the pioneering company.

Was first employee in new digital charting / navigation division. Worked on a CRADA (Cooperative Research and Development Agreement) with NOAA / NOS, the U.S. Government's Nautical Charting Division. Converted NOAA's nautical chart division to digital, working with VAR's on image spec and compression format. Worked with development companies on navigation technology, leveraging new digital charts. Resold new digital charts through new and existing channels. Company was sold to division of Land's End. Did not join acquiring company.

Joined family business in sales role after about two years working as a yacht captain on a racing yacht that we built for a prominent NYC family. It was apparent to us that we needed representation in the growing Newport, RI market place as our Maine boat building facility was too far removed from the action in Southern N.E., with easy access to the NYC market. Opened a sales office on behalf of Hinckley Yachts, Hinckley Marine Insurance and our service division, Bass Harbor Marine. Unfortunately soon after opening this office the Federal Luxury Tax was passed, placing a 10% tax on selling new boats. In the five years it took to repeal the tax, business seriously suffered and I eventually left the family business, leveraging my marine experience to transfer to a technology company, which ended up launching a very successful technology career. Captained and managed 42' Hinckley racing yacht for prominent NYC / Greenwich family. Competed in the Northern Ocean Racing Circuit, winning the overall trophy two years in a row, was the first boat to win the trophy with a perfect score, winning all qualifying races.

Custom and retail tee shirt company serving the large college market for custom tee's and large tourist market in shopping malls and retail stores. Built to 13 FTE's, including proprietary owned print shop. Co-managed business and college schedule. Sold upon graduation in 1989.
