Moved from consultant to short-term, full-time position with responsibility to lead the commercialization of a new technology for a wireless fetal monitor to assist in the management of high-risk pregnancies in remote clinical settings. The Sense4Baby (S4B) technology enables a new model of care that can bring needed care to expectant mothers. The S4B technology was innovated at the West Health Institute, a one-of-a-kind Medical Research Organization (MRO) in La Jolla, CA, and transferred to Sense4Baby,Inc. an independently funded company to commercialize the technology. S4B was acquired by Airstrip. In September, 2015 Airstrip announced that S4B is now available as a healthcare application for the Apple Watch.

Co-founded wound care medical device company to formulate and manufacture proprietary wound care formulas and skin adhesive products for diabetic and other hard to heal wounds. Amparo achieved ISO 13485 certification, FDA clearance, and manufactures private label materials to the medical industry. Left to form Upside Healthcare.

Euromed is a privately held proprietary wound care company focused on hydrocolloid materials for hard to heal wounds. Expanded sales volumes with existing national and international OEM customer base, attained new client growth and led multiple new product roll outs.

Served as "initial sales and marketing departments" for start up and early stage medical device/technology clients in fields of OB/GYN, Urology, and Wound Care. Strategic and tactical planning, business model creation and market execution. Numerous successful market launches, brand awareness campaigns, and sustained sales penetration.

Led business development team that launched two FDA 510(k) product platforms to address urinary incontinence. Persist, a professional bio-feedback medical device/system prescribed by physicians for urinary incontinence. Persist won the prestigious Medical Device Excellence Award (MDEA) in 1998. Launched PelvX, a proprietary suite of pessaries for female pelvic organ prolapse (POP).

Directed the aggressive expansion of proprietary suite of OB/GYN products focused primarily on the needs of labor & delivery. Achieved four new FDA 510(k) device clearances and directed successful product launches achieving rapid increases of market shares. Grew sales by 120% during tenure, doubling company valuation leading to acquisition by Utah Medical in 1998.

Directed business development for a proprietary umbilical cord blood sampling technology and system, CordGuard. Achieved FDA 510(k) market clearance. CordGuard was successfully commercialized, then acquired by Utah Medical in 1994.

Tokos Medical developed a transformative technology and product platform to monitor and treat high-risk pregnancy patients in home at substantial cost reduction. Joined Tokos as the eighth employee and was afforded opportunities to impact the formation and growth of the organization disciplines, functions, and departments. Participated in many core projects/initiatives leading to the development of infrastructure to sustain rapid growth while exceeding quantitative and qualitative goals. Tokos is considered the first telemedicine company to deliver ambulatory medical services. Tokos experienced phenomenal growth and generated a successful IPO in 1990. Tokos merged to form Matria Healthcare which is now a division of Abbott. I participated in many core projects and developed infrastructure to sustain rapid growth while exceeding qualitative and quantitative goals.
