Leading the Accounting Education Foundation team at TXCPA in providing learning solutions for the 25K TXCPA members and close to 100K non-member Texas CPA’s that assist them in achieving their required Continuing Professional Education hours. Overseeing large multi-day/multi-track live conferences, 1,000 attendee webinars, and the availability of over 100 on-demand programs. Partnering with state and national accountancy organizations in the professional development of individuals and the advancement of the Accounting profession in general.

Provided comprehensive leadership, oversight, and direction to the formulation and integration of learning strategies to support attainment of organizational goals for this global platform provider of workforce management services. Led reviews of existing processes and systems to identify and seize opportunities to increase employee satisfaction and productivity.During tenure, also directed the Customer Success, Sales Engineering and Human Resources teams.Proudest achievements included:• Pioneered the creation of rapid development/deployment of technical training programs using short YouTube videos. Developed close to 1,000 programs, each within an hour. Views of videos have doubled each year for the three years the program has been in existence and decreased the time to qualification of the customers by half through the targeting of task-specific programs. • Transformed the Account Management group into a Customer Success group that focused on ensuring the successful use of our product suite. Initiated the annual Key Users conference to gather enhanced feedback and synergistically brainstorm new enhancements for the product roadmap. These initiatives led to a decrease in lost customers to less than 1% per year.• Designed and delivered management/leadership programs to bolster manager training related to the company’s workforce management software. Provided courses in Communication, Managing Change, Managing Conflict, Using Power and Continuous Process Improvement. The combination of the two components of training helped the customers achieve ROI as much as 10 to 1 and reduced employee turnover by half for all locations trained.• Spearheaded institution of comprehensive evaluation program for all training programs and achieved reviews 15% higher than industry benchmark.

Led the International Sales Training effort. Traveled to England, France, Belgium, India, China, Australia and Mexico teaching Sales reps, Sales Engineers and Lead Generation personnel an improved Sales process and new Sales tools that led to immediate increases in global sales within each region.

Managed Sales Product Training for fourth largest IT company in the world. Created Partner Sales accreditation program distributed in 18 languages to Symantec's 60K global partners. Also led the annual Sales kickoff for 5K Sales reps and Sales Engineers that consisted on designing, developing and implementing 60+ training programs delivered over three days. Each successive year gaining higher marks than the previous year for training impact on Sales.

Built and delivered customer training programs for Groove's peer-to-peer software platform. Created hardware and software training "setups" that allowed the use and quick refresh of training environments for each successive class conducted across the globe. Groove's platform was the precursor to Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive.

Designed, developed and delivered customer training for Bowstreet's software. Taught clients such as Cisco to quickly create web portals from multiple XML-based services. Company was purchased by IBM so that application could be part of IBM's WebSphere.
