Associate Director, Information Technology. Barry provided technical and administrative leadership, direction and oversight to the faculty of engineering at The University of Western Ontario in all I/T matters. The information technology group he directed provided support to all departments within the faculty, in both administrative, reseach and academic computing. Barry worked with professors, administrators, students, staff and industry to ensure the ever changing needs of these constituents were being met with the highest level of support and technology available. He served on many university wide committees relating to information technology issues.Barry was an original member of the London and Region Global Network ( LARG*net) and prior to his retirement was awarded an "Outstanding Award of Achievement" by the faculty of engineering.Specialties: Leadership, problem solving, managing projects, understanding the need for technology in an organization, collaboration with other key stakeholders, and a firm knowledge of technologies.
