He built a successful advertising agency and marketing consulting firm. His continued love of performing led him to magic and becoming a performing magician. He produced Magic Week for the City of New York, designed magic effects now used by other professional magicians and wrote a textbook on how to use magic as a successful sales tool.After 20 successful years, he retired from advertising to open a not-for-profit organization, Magic Street, which used magic to aid in building educational and social skills in emotionally disturbed and severely learning disabled children. His work with these children led to a nomination for Volunteer Teacher of the Year, a White House initiative to encourage community members to become active in education. Fifteen years ago, he had the opportunity to bring all his prior skills and background to the financial services industry. He became the National director for advisor marketing at Allmerica Financial. Barry spent 10 years as chief marketing Director at Fusion Advisor Network and NFP. His unique consulting approach has helped hundred of financial professions effectively grow their businesses.Recently, Barry created Advisor Focus Consulting.
