I currently work on a PFI contract leading a team to deliver full range of TFM to support the client in delivering education in an outstanding secondary school. I run projects renewing assets as part of managing a lifecycle budget. I'm very pleased that this project is now seen as very successful with high praise from the clients.

Bradwell Power Station

Worked at Bradwell Power Station as a Facilities Manager for Interserve. The site was on the last leg of decommissioning where I manage the contract services through a NEC3 Contract including cleaning, catering, grounds maintenance, laundry and building & civils. I also manage sub contract maintenance services including air conditioning, mechanical handling equipment, compressors, roller shutter doors to name but a few.In 2015/16 financial year I also managed project delivery of £2m of mainly civil works via sub contractors.Using good process and HR skills I managed the staff reduction through the decommissioning stage, liaising with the Union and all stakeholders.

Worked for sanofi aventis at the Dagenham site for 24 years and was in Facilities for the last 15. I am a member of the BIFM and have an IOSH certificate in Managing Safety. I am regarded as an enabler within the business and often seen as the 'Go To' person.The site was large pharmaceutical site manufacturing sterile injectables, the current employee level is 450.My role consisted of managing contract services including Security, Cleaning, Catering, Garden Maintenance, Refuse/Recycling, Fire Alarm Maintenance, Workwear, Telecoms (both fixed line and mobiles). Since June 2013 I am also responsible for site maintenance and asset care of the buildings.In 2010 I sucessfully Project Managed the installation of a new fixed line telephone system, installing a new telephone switch and 400 new telephones. I was involved in corporate event management which has been both successful and entertaining. In 2012 I was lead organiser in holding an on site marketing event with lead speakers including Steve Norris and Alistaire Cambell, the event was highly regarded as a big success.
