I have been working as Senior Project Manager with FES Support Services for 17 years. My position has evolved from initially operating as a Project Manager with FES' Communications Division. After 3 years I was appointed as Senior Project Manager with FES' Property Services Division working as project lead in a principle contracting capacity on various NHS refurbishment projects.I have once again expanded and for the last 4 years been working with our Energy Division working as project lead. Recent projects I have delivered are as follows:STOR Hinksford Electricity Generating ProjectProject managed the build and commissioningof the Hinksford Short Term OperatingReserve project.Vast Healthcare experience working within various NHS sites including but not limited to:• Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Neonatal refurbishment• Edinburgh Royal Infirmary- Renal ICU refurbishment• Edinburgh Royal Infirmary- Microbiology lab refurbishment.Falkirk Council Low Carbon Vehicle HubFES Support Services project lead. Successfully delivered Scotland's biggest electric car charging facility at the Falkirk football stadium. This involved leading the preconstruction services team, design and developing the methodology andinitial programming. Western General Hospital Infrastructure Project-My current project is a Scottish Government funded initative aiming to give Edinburgh's Western General Hospital with zero carbon emissions by 2045. This first phase comprises of the installation of 3 x 1MW boilers supplying a new District Heating Network throughout the hospital campus. I operate as FES Support Services project lead involved with the preconstruction services team to develop the methodology and initial programming in partnership with the NHS.I coordinate all works and sub-contractors onsite ensuring there is minimal impact to the live hospital environment whilst also ensuring a smooth interface with other onsite projects.
