Within 4 years I progressed from an Employment Consultant in Job Network, to part of the Executive team running the DES Division, reporting to the CEO.During my time at the company, I managed or had involvement in Job Network, Job Capacity Assessment (JCA), Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS), Occupational Rehabilitation, Personal Support Program (PSP), DEN Uncapped, Jobactive and DES.Bid-managed 2009 DES tender, winning business in NSW, WA, Vic and Qld, managed rollout of new contract, most of which were new locations.Additional role of Quality Manager from 2006-2009, and managed Quality Assurance for the company nationally. In 2006 I managed the company's successful initial DSS Quality Standards and ISO 9001 certifications, nationally.

Worked throughout NSW from the Central Coast to Moree, Lightning Ridge, Coonabarabran, north to Goondiwindi and Tenterfield, Armidale and Tamworth.Conducted heavy vehicle mechanical inspections, monitored compliance with road transport legislation including mechanical road worthiness, driving hours and weight of loads.Worked on various secondments as Project Officer in Head Office for the last 3 years.

Apprenticeship: Grawill Motors Ford, Gosford Mechanic: Skaife’s Tyretown Wyong. I started as an apprentice at 15. By the age of 19 I was a qualified Mechanic and held 2 additional trade tickets as LPG and CNG Mechanic, my rego inspection ticket and several other post-trade qualifications gained by studying at night.
