As Manufacturing Engineering Leader, I was responsible for Site services which included Maintenance, Facilities, Manufacturing Engineers, Toolroom, Press Shop and Project Management. As part of this role I proposed, led and project managed the physical transformation of the site following a major investment (circa £14m)which helped improve the P&L increasing GM from 9% to 23%. This was achieved with zero injuries and without any negative impact on the customer with regards to delivery or quality. Responsible for NPI transfer to manufacturing applying DFM, DFA, FMEA tool and knowledge from concept to full manufacturing. Introduced a User Requirement Specification process for the design and approval of new capital equipment, processes and services and other formal processes to ensure compliance and delivery of projects to meet the required expectations.

Enviroco Ltd services blue chip companies across a range of sectors, including oil/gas, manufacturing & retail. As Operations / Project Manager I was responsible for the management of a waste transfer station and the project management and delivery of a major innovative process developed by the company to separate oil and water from drilling mud. Within this role I introduced new engineering practises as well as process improvements during the installation and commissioning of the plant. Also was responsible for the development and introduction of a new cleaning process for confined spaces to reduce the risk and exposure of personal. I designed a factory for the safe removal of NORM (Normally Occurring Radiative Material) from drilling pipes and other ancillary equipment currently in operation in Aberdeen.

The Kings Lynn site is a 16-acre site mainly for production and assembly of medical devices and has four factories producing over 1 million mouldings per hour from 55 Hydraulic & 45 full servo-electric injection moulding machines, which are then assembled on over 40 assembly machines. As Technical Manager I had responsibility for all equipment on site, technical innovation, manufacturing engineering and the facilities across the site working to GMP and within the requirements of ISO13485. I was the Engineering Project Lead that was the customer technical interface and lead the team that transferred the equipment & processes from the USA to the UK following the closure of the USA facility.

Responsible for manufacturing and engineering onsite, including personnel. Delivering 12 million foiled milk caps per week as will as other familiar household caps and closures. Introducing and using the latest vision technology to ensure 100% foil placement at a rate of 400 per minute as well as innovate product handling equipment
