He was a kid, a teenager in Sarajevo, and he bought the second LP of Obojeni Program just before the War started. And he lived in Dobrinja, which was a heavily contested area. He was living on the front-line, in these high-rise blocks, on the front-line. So they spent days without electricity. "So what he did was, he put his headphones on, and he would play the Obojeni Program LP by spinning it with his finger on the turntable. And at a certain moment he would get to the 33⅓ rpms — to the right speed. He had mastered the technique quickly and so he would manually power his turntable hitting the 33⅓ rpm mark without a problem during the rest of the war. Liaising with Embassies, Consulates, Immigration Ports of Entry, Lawyers, Agents, Promoters and Employers in preparing helping process (often to explain) work permit applications for (often high-profiles) artists in the fields of music, cinema, TV and also sports people (most notably Premier League footballers).2. Team Leader: Assessing applications case-worked by team members and recommending approvals or refusals. Liaising with the sponsors with regards approval dates and collections if necessary - explaining reasons for refusal where appropriate. Team leadership and management responsibilities (individual time management, morale, personal development goals etc). Dealing with enquiries from politicians.3. Case Worker: As above (1) but for all applicants from 'Special Nationalities' (Libya, North Korea, ex Soviet, Iraq, Iran etc). Additional duties included liaising with UK Security Services (North Korea 'desk' etc).4. Team Leader: As above (2) but with additional duties regarding liaising with the Security Services.
