Promoted to the role of Database, Business Intelligence, and Integrations Coordinator, I oversee a team of four experts, including myself. In this senior capacity, I actively contribute to infrastructure enhancements and steer the strategic vision of the team.At present, I spearhead a significant migration and update initiative for the IT and reporting systems at North Kent College. Additionally, I am driving efforts to modernize our reporting function, consolidating all reports and in-house applications onto a unified platform for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness. Moreover, we are exploring avenues to integrate artificial intelligence into our reporting function, aiming to leverage its capabilities for more insightful and predictive analytics.

In my Role as Analyst & Reporting Officer in the MIS department is to provide the organisation with accurate and actionable business intelligence across the four campuses (Dartford, Gravesend, Tonbridge, and Greenwich) that make up the North Kent College group.Reports cover areas like Enrolments, Applications, Attendance, Progressions and Risk Indicators (to better understand student performance and look proactively to address any potential issues in student attendance or attainment). Reports are created using SQL server reporting services, PowerBI or Excel.

As our client base transitioned to the core platform built on C# .NET, my role transformed into Application Support.In this capacity, my responsibilities expanded to ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of "Media Centre." This involved tasks such as resolving technical issues, investigating errors, providing user support, monitoring system performance, deploying new releases, and when necessary, generating reports.

By capturing Plaza vehicle transactions and seamlessly integrating this data into a MySQL database. This transformative step empowered the business to delve into a more intricate dataset, enabling deeper analysis previously beyond reach.As my role progressed, I took on the responsibility of delivering business intelligence to the entire organization, leveraging KPIs, dashboards, and SSRS Reports.
