I’m a Project Manager with 10 years' experience in residential construction industrial construction and Project Management for the leading Automated Fare Collection (AFC) company in South Africa. I have worked on large sites for major clients such as Group 5, Basil Read, Mwelapanda (construction) and City Fleet (DBN), Putco, Areyeng and Tshwane Bus services BRT (AFC industry).Recently, I led large projects for VIX Technologies, the leading Automated Fare Collection company focused on technology driven innovations for the AFC market . In this role I was focused on completing projects on time and in budget. Successes included creating strong working relationships with clients and reducing the contract costs overall for the company. Previously I ran my own Electrical Contracting company; dealing with every aspect of the business from the tender process to project completion.Colleagues know me as a highly professional person who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. I also know that the client’s satisfaction comes first, and I never try to impose my ideas on others. Instead, I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the clients before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.
