    I came to Kenexa Technology as the HR Manager supporting the RPO operations comprised of the former clients and employees of StraightSource. Eventually, the role migrated into that of the Human Resources Business Partner for the entire RPO business unit in the company responsible for a population that ranged from 300 to over 800 globally at the point of the acquisition by IBM. In addition to day to day human resources support for the RPO business unit, in my role I also picked up responsibility for the domestic and international benefits programs. Through the course of five years through effective policy management we were able to consistently renew our benefits offerings with little or no (3 consecutive years) additional cost to our employees. In addition, I was given the task of upgrading the companies HRIS tool from several disparate systems to one global tool. After an RFP evaluation I recommended Workday as our solution and successfully implemented the tool and launched on time and under budget saving the company an estimated $1.2mm in costs over the contract period. During my time as part of the HR team in Kenexa I also assisted in or drove acquisition/integration efforts for the Kenexa acquisition of StraightSource, Salary.com, Outstart , Inc., John Robert’s Associates (New Zealand/Australia) and Batrus Hollweg, Inc. When the IBM acquisition was begun I played an integral role in the due diligence gathering and in the subsequent acquisition, transition and integration activities working closely with Kenexa leadership, IBM HR Business Development and the IBM HR Transition Team.
