Working in both hospital and community settings, I witnessed how the current mental health system can fall short for individuals facing life-altering psychiatric challenges. This led me to establish a private practice rooted in Internal Family Systems and Narrative Therapy approaches that emphasize each client’s unique story and empower them to find new perspectives on their lives.How I HelpMy practice is a collaborative space where clients are encouraged to reframe difficult experiences and uncover overlooked strengths. I don’t provide answers from an “expert” stance; instead, I work alongside clients, facilitating conversations that help them construct a richer understanding of themselves and their chosen values. Whether the challenge is labeled “depression,” “anxiety,” or another term, I help clients explore whether these narratives fully serve their needs and, if not, how they can move forward.Conflict Transformation with ParableAs co-founder of Parable, I’ve expanded my work to address conflict in workplaces large and small. Inspired by the success of a de-escalation training project with a labor union, Parable provides individuals and groups with practical tools to transform conflict through understanding and effective dialogue.
