As the Production Manager I was responsible for the entire Weipa plant of up to 7 employees across the production and delivery team. The scope of my role included operations, budgets and reporting, health and safety, management and training. Servicing clients and locations up to a 260Km radius and having to mitigate risk associated with transport across graveled and unsealed roads including Penisular Development Rd.

Batcher in Charge Hanson 2008 - 2011Hanson are one of the three market leaders in Concrete and heavy building materials with over 57000 employees across 5 continents. Based in the Cairns plant which was used as the benchmark plant for rural region, with a fleet of up to 16 and a team of 21 staff. Within the role of Batcher in Charge I had full responsibility for the day to day running of the plant including planning and scheduling to optimize performance and production. Through creating a collaborative culture and empowering the stakeholders to feel invested in the operation and business we were able to achieve better than industry standard outputs.
