I am the senior pastor (rector) of the oldest Episcopal (Anglican) church in downtown Las Vegas.We are also the oldest Protestant church in this city. We have a budget of about $450,000 and an endowment of about $700,000. My staff consists of 4 priests (incl myself), 2 deacons, a minister to children and youth, a full time parish administrator, a full time facilities manager, a director of music, an organist, and several other part-time and volunteer staff members. We serve 30,000 to 40,000 persons each year through our outreach arm, a separate 501(c)3 called Epicenter on the Parkway. In 2014 we distributed half a million pounds of food. Every Sunday we have 4 services - 2 in English and 2 in Spanish - attended by 300 to 400 people. Christ Church is much in demand for concerts and other public events, as well as weddings, funerals, and quinceaneras. Christ Church is very proud of its 54 rank Schantz pipe organ, the largest in the state of Nevada.
