My background started on a family farm. Graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from State Technical Institute Memphis. Primarily technical jobs in my early career. Technical jobs included Quality Control, Electromechanical quality inspection, Commercial HVAC plan & spec take off/estimates, Building Automation (install, design and project management). Economic downturns lead me to the trucking business. Started over-the-road the first year pulling box trailer then flatbed. Moved to Alaska hauling general freight and groceries pulling doubles. After the first year primarily hauled general freight to Prudhoe Bay. Then later hauled fuel (diesel, gas, jet fuel, aviation gas and heating oil).Moved back to Tennessee from Alaska to be closer to an aging Mother along with grandchildren. I perused a new career as a Sales associate including: Health Insurance and Roofing Replacements. Both were 100% cold calls.Was a Driver/Operator on the North Slope of Alaska. Duties were fluid related on the most part but also included equipment loading/transporting.With a downturn of business on the Alaska North Slope I moved to the West Texas Oilfield. adventure in the Permian Basin of West Texas. Started hauling Frac Sand in the Permian Basin then fluids with a Vac Truck. Now I haul Fuel to Frac sites and Drill Rigs.
